Welcome to the Singles Dance & Social Club!
The Singles Dance & Social Club is NOT a Dating site. The purpose of the Singles Dance & Social Club is to organize social activities for single men and women who are thirty years of age or older. We always welcome new singles to our Club. As long as you are single, separated, divorced or widowed and thirty (30) years of age or older, you may attend any of our functions. You do not need to be a member of our Club to come to our events, although there are many benefits if you were to become a member. This is a great Club with wonderful people who come out to enjoy an evening with Friends. Many long term Friendships have been made though our Club.

SUMMER EVENTS & DANCES
BOWLING continues throughout the summer at 7:30pm every Tuesday at St. Pat’s Bowling Lanes, 45 Blackmarsh Road. Cost $10.00 + $2.00 for Shoe Rental. Arrive 15 minutes early.
GROUP WALKS – Members & Non-Members are Welcome to Walk with us at Bowring Park. Walks are every Wednesday – at 7:00pm sharp. Weather Permitting of course – We ask that you be there 15 minutes early. Meet at the Lower/East End of the Gravel Parking Lot on Waterford Bridge Road.
BEACH PARTY – Topsail Beach

- NO Fire due to reinstatement of the Fire Ban.
- Free Hot Dogs will be provided.
Bring along:
⇒ Chair for sitting.
⇒ Anything that you would like to have to eat or drink. Remember this is a Public Beach and your utmost discretion is required with regards to alcoholic drinks.
DICK’S FISH & CHIPS & KITCHEN PARTY
A trip to Bell Island on the Ferry – a meal of Dick’s Fish & Chips followed by a Dance at their Kitchen Party. Our next trip to Bell Island is planned as follows:-
⇒ SUNDAY – August 11, 2024 – Ferry leaving Portugal Cove at 4:45pm – Walk on the Ferry is recommended.

You don’t have to be Member to attend any of our Events, however, Members do receive reduced admission at our functions and can often avail of a Free Dinner & Dance on certain occasions. To apply for membership, please complete the Membership Application found on this website and give to one of our Executive Members or bring to any of our functions. We are always pleased to welcome New Members.
Membership Cost $50.00 annually.
Dances
We have 2 – 3 dances each month at various locations around the greater St. John’s area.
Dinners
We have a few Dinner & Dances throughout the year, in particular on Special Occasions. Often Members can avail of a FREE Dinner & Dance.
Games Night – Will Start up again in September. 7:30pm – every Monday at the St. Pat’s Bowling Lanes, 45 Blackmarsh Road – Cards, Darts, and other games. Arrive 15 Minutes early.

Other Activities
During the summer we usually have Beach Parties – details to be updated as the season approaches. We also make a trip to Bell Island for Fish & Chips and a Dance. Details to follow. Lots of Fun to be had by everyone.
